Our Bodies, Our Words:

A Day of Writing and Storytelling

Live Online Class:

New Session:

Friday, September 9, 2022

Wednesday, September 7, 2022 Class Full

Time: 10am-3pm EST

The vessels we know to be our physical selves have stories to tell, whether we reflect on the past, consider the present, or wonder about the future.

Remember your first broken bone or the time you didn’t just feel naked in public, but you really were naked in public?

How do the current colliding personal, social, and political realities prompt thinking and feeling about your body?

And what about wonder, speculation, and fantasy? Where might our bodies take us in the days, weeks, and years to come?

Here’s a chance to gather online, write, share and think together about a topic that is bound to yield rich written selections and curiosities. These days, when touch may be scarce and ideas about health and vulnerability seem endless, it is a chance to slow down, document, and wonder.

This is a generative workshop open to writers of all levels. Limited to ten students.
